Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided complete EPCM services for an expansion of the 10-14 Cadogan oil battery located in Southeast Alberta. Project scope included:
- Regulatory updates to change the maximum licensed inlet water rate from 750 m³/d to 1800 m³/d and licensing for new injection pumps, inlet compression, and new flare stack
- Two (2) 1000 bbl water and skim storage tanks c/w new berm sized for six (6) tanks
- A water injection skid with a capacity of 1800 m³/d with:
- Two (2) booster pumps capable of 3600 m³/d each
- One (1) water injection pump capable of 1800 m³/d
- Skid sized to accommodate a second water injection pump for future upgrade
- A new electric driven gas compressor with a design flow rate of 0.7 MMSCF/d, and removal of existing compressor
- A second MCC building
- One (1) 400 hp VFD, with room for additional 400 hp VFD for future upgrade
- One (1) 100 hp VFD
- A high pressure emergency flare sized for 9 MMSCF/d
- Piping upgrades
- Structural steel and civil work
- Electrical service upgraded from 400 A to 1000 A
